Argolida

Legendary Argolida is the ancient centre of Greece and Europe. Ancient Corinth

Grand heritage of Ancient Corinth – the Temple of Apollo is dated 6th century B.C. and ruins of the Roman Agora, sacred spring and Tribune Bema in an open area in the northern part of the Agora.Apostle Paul was standing in this place when he defended himself and the Christian faith in front of the proconsul of Corinth Gallio. Pyrene ruins – the main source of waternamed by the mythological heroine, whichaccording to the legend, after the death of her grandson in the mountain she shed so many tears that she became the source.

Kalavryta

One of the historical places of Achaia - Kalavryta, it is known for its contribution to the Greek Revolution of 1821 against the Turks and for the resistance movement during the Second World War. We will see the grave of Kapi, where during the holocaust, on the 13th of December 1943 there was a massacre of the male population of the village. In the historical monastery of the Holy Lavra you will see the flag of the revolution and other relics. Located high in the mountainsis a large cave – Mega Spileon, where there is a miraculous icon of the Mother of God.

Blue Lagoon

Lake Vouliagmeni or Blue Lake is a unique creation of nature, formed as a result of tectonic processes. On shore of the lake was found a settlement of the 1st-2nd Mycenaean period. This is an area of natural beauty and an unusual natural phenomenon. The small strait in the southern part of the lakeis connected to the Gulf of Corinth, and the means by which the lake isnaturally cleaned.
